Long lost friend ... Found

So, as I am doing some spring cleaning. Yes I realize it is August and no longer spring.. I like to take my time.

Anywho I found a box of random stuff. In this box I found a stack of old business cards. Cards of people I used to work with. Cards of randoms I don't remember why I even have the card. And Some of my old business cards from various jobs over the years.

Came across a card of a guy I used to work with about 5 years ago.

He and I instantly clicked as friends when we first met.

We would flirt but nothing ever happened.

He was married.

I was enjoying my time with a fun young 22 year old.

So, we worked and flirted.

I left to go work for an insurance company (oh the stories I have on that experience- a later blog).

He and I lost contact.

Well, I found his card and looked him up on the trusty Facebook.

He popped up I sent a message and he replied almost immediately!

YAY! It was him!!

He called me! He STILL Had my cell number!!

I was giddy!

We talked for 6 hours!!

Yes, I said 6. 6 hours!

And the conversation never lagged.

He is now divorced.

FINALLY we are both single at the same time. hhhhhmmmmmmmmm

The possibilities of it are exciting me.

He called me this morning. Which gave me warm fuzzies.

This world is full of people. Some people come and go fast. Some leave a lasting impression.

He is one of those people.

I know no matter what happens between he and I we will always be friends.

I am happy to have a true and genuine friend back in my life.

I have to admit I hope that I actually get a chance to make out with him some time soon.

To see if there was anything to the sexual tension that seemed to fuel our flirting.

I will keep ya posted!

Cowboys/Bengals play in a few hours!

Excited to see how my Boys look!

Wonder how the Bengals are going to do with Ocho Cinco & King Diva T.O.....

T.O. is only good for one season so I am sure they will do well before his full diva-ness kicks in.

Was going to play fantasy football this year and decided that I will stick with my little football pool with dad.

Anywho- lots to do before kick off!!

Hall of Fame Game this weekend!!

After waiting months and months and months thru basketball, college basketball and the baseball we are finally back to football season!

The World Cup was a fun distraction for a few weeks then the USA lost and I lost interest in the drama kings also known as soccer players! Quit flopping around on the ground and play ball!!

Anywho-

The Cowboys will be taking on the Bengals in this years HOF game.

The Bengals just signed the biggest of Diva's T.O. .

Now Ocho Cinco and T.O. on one team holy shit thats a lot of drama.

I hope the WR shut the fuck up and play some football.

I am excited to see what Tony Romo is going to do. I believe he has the talent to be an elite QB.

Yes, I know I am a Cowboys fan but I will admit when players suck.

I think Tony will kick some ass this year.

We have a solid team. I am excited to see what happens!!

College football Coaches I am NOT a fan of!!

With 44 days, 5 hours, 37 minutes until the NFL Regular Season kicks off I am feeling the need to blog!!

Why is Lane Kiffin such a fucking slime ball?

Why can't he follow the simplest of rules?

He is the reason for this blog. In his latest shining moment of shittyness he has pissed off the TN Titans for poaching an assistant coach.

There are a handful of football coaches out there I think a big sacks of shit.

They have had success. I have know assistant coaches who have worked for them so I feel like I may have more insight than the average football fan.

Funny thing my gut feelings about these slime ball coaches have been right 100% of the time.

So, I will continue to trust my gut and not believe the hype.

Current List of Coaches I can NOT stand nor would I let them near my son (if I had one):

-John Gutekunst (much more personal reasons than listed above)

Men!

I asked a man friend of mine if I was allowed to rip on men on my blog as long as I didn't mention names or major identifying information. He said yes as long as I give a good reason and a solution.

The reason....I don't understand them!

Why are their egos are so fragile?

They get pissy about the the smallest stuff.

I LOVE men do not get me wrong.

I have more male friends than female friends.

I LOVE men.

I prefer hanging out with the boys over a night out with the girls.

I REALLY DO LOVE MEN!!

So, you would think that men wouldn't piss me off so much but damn they really do piss me off.

I have a fabulous friend who has picked up a girlfriend in the last couple of months and has dropped off the face of the earth he won't return a phone call or a text message.

So, fucking irritating. We had all sorts of fun adventures planned with our group of friends and now all those plans are in the shitter.

So, annoying!

A girlfriend or boyfriend is supposed to be someone who can go to events with you and y'all hang out with each others friends and socialize. You don't just drop off the face of the earth and not see ANY of your friends!!

My solution.... Figure out how to have a relationship where you balance girlfriend time with friend time.

I have a met a nice guy recently (thru the internet) I like things about him. We have yet to meet face to face but maybe someday soon. I have talked to him on the phone. Nice phone voice (important to me).

BUT he gets pissy then ignores me on Blackberry Messenger.

I want to scream GROW UP! Seriously?!?

Today he ignored me because I didn't give him my Instant Messenger screen names.

YOU DIDN'T ASK FOR THEM!!

Im not on a computer all day so I RARELY log on to my Yahoo, GTalk & AIM.

Sorry I tried to tease you about it.

But thank you for ignoring my questions about when we are going to be Facebook friends.

There are things about him I really like and there are things about him that I think are deal breakers.

I don't know if we will ever meet in person. If he keeps up these little hissy fits I would say we probably won't meet.

My solution.... COMMUNICATION if you want me to contact you in another way besides BBM let me know. Its not hard. Something you want to know ASK!

I have lots of guys I could drag into this blog. But these 2 were the ones who chapped my hide today.

I am to a point in my life where my tolerance level for bullshit is very low.

I need men to quit acting like a bunch of little girls! Don't just hang with your new BFF and if you want something learn how to communicate!

Not that hard y'all.

Long time no blog...SMALL update

Holy Crap! Where has the time gone?

I had a plan to blog everyday and it seems that life has gotten away from me.

So, in the last month and a half since my last blog lets see what has happened?

hhhmmmmm well not too much has happened except my favorite band in the entire world decided to go in different directions (more on this later another blog).

I turned 39.

My mom bought a house in Wisconsin.

I decided to move back to Texas.

So, nothing too life altering!

So, I am currently in Texas packing up my mom's house that she has lived in for the last 28 years.

She closes on her Wisconsin house June 25th.

The moving van is scheduled to pick up her stuff on July 29th and be delivered by August 3rd.

Once Coach and I drive her car to Wisconsin, I will make sure that the moving van arrives, then we will let the extended family take over and help her unload and put everything away.

Then I will head to Nashville to start packing up the last 3 years of my life.

So, just a little busy this summer!! YAY!

I am having mixed emotions about leaving Nashville. (again another blog).

hey... just realized we are 88 days and 21 hours away from the kick off of the NFL regular season! WOO HOO

I am currently engrossed in The FIFA World Cup Soccer.

The USA played England today the final score was 1-1.
