NFL KEY DATES-yep I borrowed this from NFL.com
Long time no blog...SMALL update
Holy Crap! Where has the time gone?
I had a plan to blog everyday and it seems that life has gotten away from me.
So, in the last month and a half since my last blog lets see what has happened?
hhhmmmmm well not too much has happened except my favorite band in the entire world decided to go in different directions (more on this later another blog).
I turned 39.
My mom bought a house in Wisconsin.
I decided to move back to Texas.
So, nothing too life altering!
So, I am currently in Texas packing up my mom's house that she has lived in for the last 28 years.
She closes on her Wisconsin house June 25th.
The moving van is scheduled to pick up her stuff on July 29th and be delivered by August 3rd.
Once Coach and I drive her car to Wisconsin, I will make sure that the moving van arrives, then we will let the extended family take over and help her unload and put everything away.
Then I will head to Nashville to start packing up the last 3 years of my life.
So, just a little busy this summer!! YAY!
I am having mixed emotions about leaving Nashville. (again another blog).
hey... just realized we are 88 days and 21 hours away from the kick off of the NFL regular season! WOO HOO
I am currently engrossed in The FIFA World Cup Soccer.
The USA played England today the final score was 1-1.
Please refer to my friend Michelle's blog for World Cup for Dummies...
I know NOTHING about soccer and was so damn nervous today for the game my heart was racing during our national anthem!!
So Happy World Cup!
Happy Mini-Camp to all the NFL players!
Happy SUMMER!
I will be back again soon y'all!
XOXOXOXO

FOOTBALL Y'ALL!
I can not tell you how excited I am for the 2010 NFL Schedule to come out!
Im a football geek I know.
I will be sure to post the schedule here too when it is finally released.
I am really ready for baseball season to be done with.
Yes I realize it JUST started but Im over it.
I do enjoy a game live and in person every now and then but I can not stand it on tv! Sorry! I am pretty much a football only girl.
Basketball... meh Don't really care.
I did watch the final college basketball game between Butler and Duke - I was rooting for Butler. I have hated Duke since college and the Christian Laettner days. I just get so sick of everyone hopping on the Duke bandwagon - they are a basketball power house yes I get it but I just don't give a shit about them.
Anywho- we are approximately 143 Days away from the start of FOOTBALL SEASON!
So, excited.
I will start blogging more. I need to. I think I am happier when I blog.
I am currently trying to get out of a funk.
I think I just need to get laid it has been about a month.
The car accident I had on Friday didn't help my funk any.
My chest is killing me where my seat belt stopped me. But as long as me and my dog are all right then the rest is fixable.
Happy April... It is almost May.... and 36 or so days until my birthday. I LOVE birthdays I just HATE getting older!
Have a GREAT Week!
XOXOX

Quick Update !
To blog or not to blog that is the question....
My life has gotten in the way of my fun and blogging lately.
I have several blogs planned but am waiting on details to fall into place before I blog about them.
Not that I have an ass load of readers but just don't like to jinx shit!
I could bitch about the stuff in my life that isn't going the way I want it to but who wants a negative blog? seriously!
No need to put any extra negative energy out there!!
I will say the past couple of weeks have been "lost in translation" of sorts.
I have had 3 different situations where text messages are sent and mis-read. So, hurt feelings have been running rampant.
Still working on cleaning up those messes.
So, words of advice Don't pick fights on text people - no good can come from it.
Baseball season started this week.... blah! I like going to games but do we need to have 85 months of baseball?
College basketball wrapped up last night Butler vs. Duke. I was cheering for Butler so of course Duke won- Blah!
Don't pay attention to the NBA I'm sure that is still going on winding down or something. I wish Chris Webber still played.
How many of you out there remember the Michigan Fab Five? Am I showing my age yet? ekkkkk!
On to the wonderful world of FOOTBALL... we are approximately 157 days away from the start of the NFL season.
They are going to implode Texas Stadium on Sunday. This makes me very sad.
I know we have a brand spanking new shiny stadium 5 minutes from my mom's house but- Texas Stadium is where The Cowboys legend was born and raised. SO MUCH HISTORY!
Tom Landry- the history of that man alone fills me with pride and joy. (and is a blog all its own)
I could go into a whole Cowboys thing here- but will save that for a later date and again a blog all its own.
Other news around the league...
McNabb was traded to the Washington Redskins. I heard they also picked up Rex Grossman.
Poor Jason Campbell- I liked him and I hate everything Redskins.
The draft is about two and half weeks away.
Someday I will go to NYC and check out draft weekend. As well as the Heisman ceremony.
OH BIG NEWS my #1 love Brett Favre became a grandpa this week. I have never had a crush on a grandpa before...
(Oh wait yes I have but it only lasted like a week. He freaked out because he was one of my step-dad's best friends)
Im thinking about attending a Spring Football game or 2. Stay tuned to see which colleges I choose.
I am planning a trip to New Orleans to hang with some fantastic friends as well as enjoy some amazing music.
It is the last weekend that my fave band The Lost Trailers are on an opening slot for the Tim McGraw tour.
It is also my first time seeing Tim McGraw- big weekend. Im excited!!
Ok my real life and job beckons me.
I must keep moving like a shark!
Will promise to blog again soon and include some PICTURES!
XOXOXO

WOWZA pictures!
So, being the single man loving woman that I am.
I won't try to hide the fact that I think men are fantastic, fun, confusing as fuck, amazing, stupid and wonderful all at the same time.
They say one thing and do the complete opposite.
They smell good.
They are easily distracted. Sometimes a good thing. Sometimes a bad thing.
They look good.
They are especially sexy when they are playing guitar or football (in my eyes anyway).
They like to look at my boobs (usually).
But there are a handful of men in my life or that have come and gone in my life that have shared the most intimate of pictures with me.
No, not a pic of his smiling face because he is thinking about me but a pic of his dick.
I just went thru my phone and counted 7 pics of different men's "stuff"
Also, of these men who sent pics I have never seen 98% of them naked in real life.
98% !! We have NEVER EVER been naked with each other!!
So, why do men feel the need to be so open and free with me? (I'm seriously NOT complaining).
They always ask for pictures back. I have a stock black lace bra pic with perfect cleavage that I will send back.
I don't send out pics of my sweet stuff!
But men send them out like they are little pieces of electronic Halloween Candy!
I enjoy them don't get me wrong.
Does that make me a bad person?
I think they are fun. Sometimes they arrive at awkward moments (ANY family function or while I am on a date)
But for the most part they are an endless source of entertainment.
Also, a quick FYI for you men... if you send us a picture of your "friend" we have been known to forward those pics to our bestest girl friends or share them over a glass of wine on girls night!
So keep on sending them to me!
I LOVE THEM and You silly, crazy ass men who send them!
PS Sorry ladies I must refuse to share my oh so private collection of pictures on my blog!
It is my duty to protect all the guilty men in my life!

The Inner Fuckerness
Yes I said The Inner Fuckerness.
What is Inner Fuckerness you ask?
Well, over my vast experience with men in all capacities family, friends, boyfriends, lovers and even one night stands. All men have a few things in common.
Besides the obvious penis. They also all have an Inner Fuckerness.
This is something that they don't always show to everyone and they don't show it all the time.
My friend Jeffrey would like to add that women have an inner fuckerness as well.
We have discussed this at length the past few days. I am starting to agree with him.
I am sure I have been a fucker to someone at some point in time in my life.
Most of this blog was written before Jeffrey and I finished this conversation so, if you are a man reading this pretend it is about women and their inner fuckerness.
I do not think that I am a bitter woman.
I have been hurt very badly by men.
BUT I still have a glimmer of hope that I will meet some man who loves me for every wonderful thing as well as every annoying thing about me.
Some men choose to show this fuckerness right away they will flirt with you, make you feel like a million bucks for a few hours or days then you will never hear from them again. They just POOF disappear.
Some wait years and years and years to show this fuckerness.
I have NO clue what brings this fuckerness out.
There are some people whom I thought were above and beyond showing this heinous man gene but life has a cruel sense of humor and likes to kick you in the gut the minute you think you are happy and doing things right.
So, are people born with this inner fuckerness?
Does it grow over time?
Does it grow over the length of certain relationships?
Does it dissipate over time? Does it dissipate over the length of certain relationships?
Not sure. Still working on that.
I think it is different in each person. Judging from the conversations I have had with friends we all have similar experiences but the life phases of the fuckers involved are different.
So, I guess there is nothing we can do to prevent or ward off the inner fuckerness.
There are no tell tale signs. So, I guess if you know it is a possibility it might make it hurt less when it happens to you.
That is what I keep telling myself as I navigate my way thru this mine field of a love life.
Keep me posted on your progress and or fuckerness stories of your own!
Good Luck and Happy Dating!
-Kate
